HAMBACH! is a cooperation between the itinerant art and culture project Matchbox (Cultural Office of the Rhine-Neckar Metropolitan Region), QUERFÄLLTEIN-Festival for up-and-coming regional artists (City of Neustadt an der Weinstraße) and the Foundation of Hambach Castle.

At the Demokratiefestival HAMBACH!, 14-16 September, visitors are invited to actively participate in programme and discourse, instead of merely watching. The artists will be asking the international audience to think about the future of democracy in Europe and to speak up.
